Ludwig & Wolfgang
Ludwig and Wolfgang are our 2 Border Collie dogs who just turned 2 years old this past January 5th (2008), and they are the apples of our eyes. They also work as models for our dog clothing business Franga Designs and like all supermodels are very vain and prone to jealousy if one gets to dress up and the other doesn’t.

Ludwig (”lood-vig”) is named after one of our favorite composers Beethoven with whom he shares many personality traits such as “Sturm und Drang.” Our Ludwig is tall and skinny with freckles on his nose and legs. He loves to play catch and watch movies, which may or may not have to do with the word “movie” rhyming with his nickname Luwie (”loo-vee”). His favorite film is “The Adventures of Milo and Otis” and he gets more than usually excited during the hide-and-seek in the barnyard scene. His favorite song is “Hi-diddle-dee-dee an Actor’s Life for Me” (from Disney’s Pinocchio). A few of his favorite non-food-related words are: DVD, remote [control], TV, watch, movie, ball, catch, and rabbit. He dislikes bathing. |
| Wolfgang (”volf-gahng”) is named after our favorite composer Mozart. Wolfie is not as tall as Luwie and has traditional black and white markings and a freckle on his nose and one leg. He can be somewhat of a goody-two-shoes, always wanting to show Luwie up by being helpful. He brings us nearly anything we ask for and is the only dog we have ever known who closes a door (or refrigerator) without slamming it. Wolfie loves music, especially when we sing in harmony or the “Ugly Wugly Spider” (to the tune of “Itsy Bitsy Spider”) with hand motions. He also insists on laughing along whenever anyone in the house is laughing, and has an unhealthy fascination with spray bottles. |
